Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17 national football team won the match against Serbia 1-0 today

Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17 national football team won the match against Serbia 1-0 today, but that wasn't enough to qualify for the EURO quarter-finals. After the game, BiH coach Sakib Malkocevic said:

"We were in a difficult position before today's match. Serbia and Ireland were in a better situation, however it turned out that we missed the quarter-finals by only one goal. We regret that we failed to qualify for the next stage of the championship. In the first half Serbia had better opportunities, but we took control of the game in the second half. We scored a goal too late into the game, and now the Irish go on instead of us."

Player Armin Imamovic who scored the only goal in the today's match shared his thoughts: "Unfortunately we failed to qualify for the next phase. We gave our best today, but we missed our chance by one goal. I think that we and Serbia performed better than Republic of Ireland in this competiton, yet they will play in the quarter-finals despite receiving seven goals by Germany today."
