Bosnia and Herzegovina  national cadet football team members and coaching staff didn't hide their excitement after winning the first match at the European Championship.

Coach Sakib Malkocevic: "I think we deserve these three points. We played a good match today against an opponent who beat us in the first qualifying round. We had some troubles with the lineup because we couldn't count on three players, but the rest of the team was excellent and up to the task. Three points at the European Championship is a success for us, I'm thrilled and I congratulate our boys. I'd also like to thank the host for making our stay here extremely pleasant."

Today's double scorer Benjamin Hadzic feels great after the victory: "I feel great, we've won, and that's the only thing that matters. I had hoped to score a goal at this championship, and I'm happy I did."
