After today's draw with Slovakia in Skopje, the U-17 team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina once again successfully completed the first round of qualifications and qualified to the elite round.

The head coach Sakib Malkočević did not hide his pleasure of success:

“From match to match, we were rising and playing better. It was very difficult against a very strong Slovakia today. At one point, when we were in the result gap, it seemed like we were far from further qualification. Nevertheless, we showed character and quality and for the fifth time we are in the elite round. We can be satisfied with the way the guys played this tournament. For an elite round, we will have to work even more and stronger. Congratulations to the players for success.”

The BH U-17 team finished Group 8 at the first place, ahead of Slovakia, Macedonia and Moldova.
