After the match with Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina cadet team announced they'll play tougher and more aggressive game in the second round against Germany. They showed they were serious in their intentions because our team took the lead during the first moments of today's match.

"I'm glad we responded well after the loss against Austria. Germany was the favorite team, but we played at a very high level in the first half-time. We scored the goal on time, and after that we had two good opportunities. Although Germany had the better ball possession at a time, we were happy with our performance in the first half.

In the second part of the game, Rijad Sadiku's red card caught us off guard, and then it was very difficult to play against such a strong team without one player. Later our mistakes cost us two goals. I congratulate Germany for their victory, but also I'm pleased with how our guys handled today's match."

National team member Predrag Vladic was sad after the loss: "It's hard to talk after a game like that. We did our best, but unfortunately we didn't win. We played the entire second half without our teammate, and it made everything more difficult. I'd like to congratulate our opponent."
