The interest for FIFA World Cup, mainly from media has been enormous and it's almost certain that requests will outnumber approved accreditations.
Accreditation process for media companies will begin on December 7th, the day after the final draw, and will end on January 31st 2014. Interested parties should present the following during the online registration process:
- Authorized FIFA Media Channel account,
- A unique user identification and electronic key, which will be used by FFBIH in accordance to instructions.
Other details regarding the number of accreditations, distribution, categories etc. will be issued at a later date. FIFA doesn't issue the exact number for now, but it will be presented after the qualifications.
FIFA Media Channel
The registrations on FIFA Media Channel is absolutely necessary in order to access accreditation form for media ticketing system. The access in limited, and can only be obtained by using unique user name and password. Media companies' representatives who are authorized will be allowed to complete the accreditation form and ticketing system.

It's important to note that special user ID and electronic key for online accreditation form access are NOT the same as individual username and password for accessing the FIFA Media Channel.
