Organized by Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a meeting was held today at the hotel Park in Vogosca, where PL clubs were presented with the regional youth football league project.
This initiative was set in motion at a meeting between seven football associations from South East Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary, Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia) earlier this month in Zagreb, and was presented today to the BH Telecom Premier League clubs and WFC SFK 2000 Sarajevo representatives.
The meeting was opened by FFBIH general secretary Jasmin Bakovic, while competitions and event management department director Elmir Pilav presented the financial, technical and organizational aspects of the U-16, U-14, WU-16, and Women's "A" Regional League categories.
Following the presentation, the participants exchanged their views and opinions during an open discussion where most club representatives expressed a positive attitude towards the formation of such regional competition.
The conclusions will be passed on at the next meeting between regional football associations, which is scheduled for January 2017.
