In 11 rounds, Centar won eight times, had one draw, and was defeated twice. The goal difference is 54:41 and after Mostar SG Staklorad and Brotnjo, the Sarajevo club has the most efficient team in the league.
The head of Centar's technical staff, Dženan Muminović, says that his team has the highest goals:
“Since we enter every championship with the highest ambitions, the second place is not what pleases us. However, I have to point out that very often all players were not available in the competition due to their injuries, especially those more experienced. Practically, all the burden was brought by young players, and from that side, the autumn results of Centar are not bad.”
Muminović commented the team’s preparations:
“We started preparations on 17th January. The guys have been doing very well. Regarding the changes in the squad, Nermin Jusić has gone, but we have strengthened by Vladan Lukić coming from Brčko and Mirza Selimović from Željezničar. They will surely strengthen the competition in the team and bring us more quality.”
Dženan Muminović says his team does not give up the title:
“As long as theoretically there are chances of reaching the championship title, we will fight. Centar will always strive for high results. Of course, we will not neglect the Cup, where we also want to get to the trophy. It is a novelty that we will play in the Skenderija sports hall in the spring and this is definitely a step forward for our club.”
Amel Handžić is the best scorer of Centar with 15 goals. Emir Sipović scored 10, Bilal Jelić 9, and Nijaz Mulahmetović 7 goals. Anel Radmilović (6 goals), Faik Bogilović, Alen Muminović, Adnan Tahirovic (2 goals) and Josip Lokmer, who scored one goal, also entered the goal-scorers’ list.
