The team from Livno achieved 4 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats with a goal difference 43:46.
The head of the technical staff of Seljak, Ivo Krezo, points out that the team could have better results:
“I think that we should have won more points in the first part, especially on the home ground. In some matches, we created a high advantage, which we would gamble away and thus lost points. We can be happy with away games, but we need to play better as hosts. If we had a little more luck, we would be at least the third in the table.”
Krezo commented on the preparations of his team:
“We are preparing, but unfortunately we are not complete. Semren and Maleta do not train for injuries, and we hope that they will soon recover and join the team. We did not continue to work with Rožić, and by the end of the transfer period we will try to bring some reinforcement. We played a friendly match with Split during the preparation period. It was a very good team and we were defeated in that match, but we saw the state of our team. I believe we will be ready for the continuation of the competition.”
Ivo Krezo says about ambitions for the next period:
“Our primary goal is to stay in the league, and we have ambitions in the Cup to pass further as much as possible. Regarding the top of the table, I think that everything is clear and it will be difficult for someone to endanger the Mostar team. For the coming season, we have to consolidate financially, because next year we celebrate 40 years of existence and we want to make a step forward also in the results.”
The best scorer of Seljak in the current part of the championship is Nikola Perković with 8 goals, followed by Nikola Ivković with 7. Anđel Čolak and Blažan Maleta scored 5, Ivo Krišto and Anto Palavara 4 and Ante Semren 3 goals. Nikola Kaić and Ivan Kovač entered twice in the list of goal scorers and Mladen Rožić once.
