Zrinjski enters a continuation of the competition with the new management and changed squad in relation to the first part of the championship. The club president Marko Zovko says about the current situation in the club:

“Since the arrival of the new administration, many things have changed in the club, starting from the squad, to the professional staff. In addition to our head coach Goran Melher, we also brought the expert of physical preparation, Boris Kajan, as well as assistant coach, Zoran Berić, in order to get better through these preparations. Our players trained twice a day, and we made a contract with the “proteini.si” Company, in order to provide them with the necessary supplements. The first big test awaits us on Saturday when we play against KMF Brčko Zdravlje in the school hall on the “Bijeli Brijeg”. We hope to win and, of course, this will not be possible without our fans, so I also use this opportunity to invite all of them for the match on Saturday. Our ambition in the continuation of the championship will be to win the BH Cup, as well as the best possible ranking in the championship.”

The head of the technical staff, Goran Melher, believes that Zrinjski could achieve better results this autumn:

“We entered the championship with the goal of fighting for the championship title, but in certain circumstances and after some unexpected defeats, we are currently in the situation that we have to think about the survival in the league. I think that the team could have achieved better results, so we are not completely satisfied with our performance in the first part of the competition.”

Melher points out that the team works well on preparations:

“Six standard players left us, but we brought 3 experienced reinforcements and joined several young players to the first team. As far as preparations are concerned, I think that these are the best since the club has existed. The new administration provided us with all the conditions for work and we are ready for the challenges that await us in the championship.”

A young expert from Mostar says about the ambitions to continue the competition:

“Our goal is to ensure survival as soon as possible. We have to get into every match very seriously. We also think of the Cup where we want to get to the trophy.”

Marin Suton is the top scorer of Zrinjski with 12 goals, followed by Romano Vlaho with 9. Ivan Drežnjak scored 6, Darko Raguž 5, Josip Božinović, Zvonimir Ćavar and Blago Gašpar 3, while Tomislav Bevanda and Ivan Ivanković scored 2 goals.
