The FIFA representative, Oliver Jung, is visiting FF BH and he presented the new FIFA Forward Programme, adapted and intended for the football development in each FIFA member association.

At the beginning of the meeting, Jung, the FIFA development programme manager for Europe said: “I am looking forward to staying in Sarajevo, where I have been several times, but for the first time I am here officially.”

Presenting the program, Jung noted: “This is a completely new program that was started after the FIFA Congress in Mexico in 2016. FIFA decided to increase its financial support to its members associations by having 5 million USD available for specific football development programmes in a four-year cycle.”

“I came with the first snow”, said Jung with a joke and continued, “in order to explain how to apply for these specific programmes. We signed a contract with Football Federation of BH, defining the concrete goals and priorities of development, and in accordance with the strategic plan of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have one, I would say a clean document with a clear concept how the funds from the FIFA Forward Programme will be used. After I presented all ways of applying, we expect to receive from the Federation the first application as soon as possible, so that we could fund the project at the beginning of next year.”
