BIH's national team was defeated tonight by Nigeria with 1:0 in the second stage in Group F.

In 20' Edin Dzeko scores a goal, but referee mistakenly called for offside. Nigeria took the lead later in 29' via Odemwenige.

There was no change of result in the second half time. Dzeko had a chance to score in the stoppage time, but unfortunately the ball hit the goalpost. With this defeat, our team lost the chance to advance to the 1/8th finals.

"We should congratulate Nigeria, they were much better tonight than in first match with Iran. They were more lucky, and that's why they've won. It will be hard to motivate my players after this, but we have an obligation to leave a good impression during the next match. It's too bad for these guys, but I have no complaints on their work", said coach Safet Susic after the match.

Our team will play their last match on this World Cup against Iran on June 25th at 18:00 hours CET.
