Chairman of the FFBIH counseling and mediation board and a true legend of Bosnian football, Ivan Osim, received another award for his work today.

The Government of Japan awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette to Mr. Osim in recognition of his contribution to the development of football community in Japan and promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ivan Osim has coached Japanese club JEF United Ichihara from 2003 to 2006, with whom he won the 2005 and 2006 J.League Cup championships. In 2006 and 2007, he coached national "A" football team of Japan.

The ceremony was attended by FFBIH president Elvedin Begic and general secretary Jasmin Bakovic.
