Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" football team performed a training session this morning at the FK Sarajevo training camp in Butmir. Milan Djuric joined the team yesterday, so the staff has a complete team now for the upcoming match with Estonia.
Trainer Igor Jankovic: "We're happy with preparations so far. The players approached this task seriously, and we're getting ready for the match with Estonia. All of them are healthy and work at full intensity. We've analyzed the Estonians, there are no unknowns, however all teams play well nowadays and there are no easy opponents. It's up to us to prepare as best as we can and reach an important victory."
Midfielder Haris Medunjanin: "Last time we lost the first match in the qualifiers, and that game cost us the European Championship. It will be difficult, but we'll be ready by Tuesday certainly. We're motivated to go back to a big football event, but it's important to fight along the way. Estonia has a defensive team, and they'll certainly try to counter-attack our attempts. We have to prepared for that, and work together to successfully finish the game."
Debutant Danijel Milicevic: "I fit in really fast, all players are positive. We have a common goal - to start the qualifiers with a victory. Estonia is a tough team that plays defensively, but we're preparing for that and looking for potential solutions."
