About a thousand students from primary schools in Zenica came today in the FFBIH training center in Zenica where BIH national female team held a physical education class for them. The event was organized by Fare network, Ebbe Comms agency and FFBIH.
Coach Samira Hurem: "I'm glad they came up with such idea, and this tells me the stands will be full on Tuesday against England. Children had an opportunity to socialize with our players today, get acquainted with women's football, and will surely come to support us in an important qualifying game."
Fare network representative Ema Bukovica: "Our goal is to motivate as many people as we can to come and watch the match against England, but also to continue to follow our women's national team. In this regard, we've also organized a seminar for journalists reporting on women's football, because they are very important in motivating the audience and public. The physical education class we organized today was aimed mainly for 4th and 5th grade students, but there were older children as well. We talked with them about football and tried to motivate them to like this sport, which is a powerful socializing tool for children, not to mention it's healthy for young people."
First training session for our team is scheduled for 16:00 hours today.
