Premier league refereeing seminar in Makarska, Croatia, which was set up by refereeing committee and competitions department, has finished today.
22 referees from A-list, 31 assistant referees B-list, and 9 referees from regional „talent-mentor“ program participated in this seminar. 59 participants passed the fitness test, and one withdrew because of his injury.
An analysis of Premier league autumn season refereeing has been made during the seminar. The topics were „Premier league autumn season statistics“, „winner mentality characteristics and development“, „sports without doping“, „fatigue, staleness and recovery“, „competition integrity“, „the role and responsibility of the 5th and 6th referee“, „fouls and unsportsmanlikeship“, and „offsides“.
UEFA's referee convention coordinator Alan Snoddy attended this event, who had a presentation of his own titled „identifying and knowing diving“.
