Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina president Elvedin Begic is proud of our national football team's success at the Kirin Cup in Japan.

"I congratulate the coaching staff and players for winning the Cup. They have made a historic success and won their first trophy. All of this proves that we have a defined plan, strategy, vision and goals. Participation in the Kirin Cup and supporting the coach to change his team is also an indication that we're on the right track.

Many criticized us for taking part in the Kirin Cup and this trophy is certainly a reminder to all who make unfounded claims against FFBIH. I'd like to thank once again coach Bazdarevic who has our utmost support and the players who showed they could be counted on."
