During the meeting, discussions focused on opportunities to improve cooperation between institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States through sport, with special emphasis on football development, youth and Olympic projects, and strengthening international ties through sports diplomacy.
FFBiH President Vico Zeljković stated after the meeting: "I held a meeting today in Banja Luka with Paolo Zampoli, special envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump for global partnerships. We discussed the role of sport in strengthening international cooperation, connecting sport, diplomacy, and business, as well as possibilities for future collaboration through football and Olympic projects. Special emphasis was placed on developing young athletes, improving sports infrastructure, and exchanging experiences with American institutions. We agree that sport represents a strong bridge for building partnerships and opening new opportunities."
The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue activities aimed at strengthening international cooperation and developing projects important for domestic football and sport as a whole, in the interest of the Federation and its member associations.
