A press conference ahead of qualifying match against Spain has been held today in hotel Park in Vogosca. Coach Vlado Jagodic and players Srdjan Grahovac and Kristijan Jajalo answered the press' questions.
Coach Jagodic said: "Spain is double European and current World champion. The last time they lost was four years ago. This match will pose a great challenge for our team. We made a bad result against Austria on home turf, and I think we can't play much worse than that. A month ago we played in Murcia, Spain we had a good match, we played as well as on the beginning of the qualifications. Regardless of the opponent's quality, I think we can play a good game and hopefully make a positive result. Anything's possible in football, but I won't pose any burden on my players."
Captain Srdjan Grahovac thinks the breaks can be our advantage: "We are ready for this match. We have to play as good as possible against Spain. On the average, our players are higher than Spain's and we should use that to our advantage during the breaks."
Goalkeeper Kristijan Jajalo also had something to say: "We are aware of the Spain's strength, and we have a hard match ahead of us. I'll try to do my job as best as I can, of course in a cooperation with other players. I wouldn't pick anyone specific from the opposing team because they play in the best clubs in the world."
The match is scheduled for tomorrow at 20:30 hours on the stadium Bilino Polje in Zenica.
