Today, FFBiH received a letter from FIFA-badge referee Irfan Peljto, who officially informed us that due to threats made to him and his family, he can't perform his duties in upcoming BiH WWiN League matches featuring football clubs from Sarajevo.
The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina strongly condemns any form of pressure on the officials who are active participants in competitions in our country, and expresses deep concern about such occurrences that have become frequent lately.
We call upon competent authorities to take necessary actions to prevent such incidents in our community, prosecute responsible individuals, and protect our top football referee and all officials in FFBiH competitions.
