The Committee reviewed FK Sarajevo’s appeal against the Disciplinary Committee’s decisions from March 27th regarding incidents during the second leg of the BiH Cup quarter-finals between FK Sarajevo and FK Borac, which was halted in stoppage time of the second half due to the home team players leaving the pitch.
FK Sarajevo, along with club representatives Ismir Mirvić and Senijad Ibričić, filed appeals against the following decisions of the FFBiH Disciplinary Committee:
- FK Sarajevo is fined 22.000 KM and docked 3 points for leaving the pitch, omissions in the match organization, use of pyrotechnics, throwing hard objects onto the field hitting an official, unprofessional security behavior, and unauthorized pitch entry. All in accordance with Articles 58, 59, 61, and 66 of the FFBiH Disciplinary code.
- FK Sarajevo's president, Ismir Mirvić, is banned from football duties for 1 year and fined 2.000 KM, per Article 66 of the FFBiH Disciplinary code.
- FK Sarajevo's assistant coach Senijad Ibričić is banned from football duties for 7 months and fined 3.000 KM, in line with Articles 57 and 66.
The Appeals Committee decided that president Mirvić will face a conditional 1-year ban from football-related functions, which won’t be enforced if no new offense occurs within 6 months, along with a reduced fine of 1,000 KM, as per article 66.
All other decisions by the FFBiH Disciplinary Committee are upheld in full.
