At the opening of the session, FFBiH president Vico Zeljković addressed those present, emphasizing, among other things, that the success and qualification of the national “A” team for the World Cup are the result of good joint work with a clear structure and objective. He also praised the results of the women's national “A” team, which currently leads its qualifying group and has a strong chance of reaching the playoffs for a spot at the World Cup.
The session was attended by Marco Ferri, FIFA Regional Coordinator for Europe, and Jozef Kliment, UEFA advisor for national associations. Both congratulated FFBiH and president Zeljković on the historic achievement and qualification of our national team for the World Cup, pointing out that FIFA and UEFA will continue to be reliable partners of the Federation through infrastructure projects, development programs, and ongoing support for football development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Following the election of the working bodies, the Election Committee confirmed that 56 delegates were present, meaning the Assembly had the necessary quorum to operate and adopt decisions.
After the presentations were shown, the Assembly delegates unanimously adopted:
- 2025 FFBiH Activity Report;
- Report on the Implementation of FFBiH Revenue and Expenditure Plan for 2025;
- 2025 FFBiH Audit Report;
- 2026 FFBiH Activity Plan;
- 2026 FFBiH Revenue and Expenditure Plan.
At today’s session, the conceptual design project for the construction of the national stadium “Bilino polje” in Zenica was also presented.
