A meeting followed at the Federation’s headquarters, during which the two presidents exchanged views on current football developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, as well as on joint projects whose realization contributes to football development at all levels. Special emphasis was put on the importance of UEFA’s continued support for infrastructure, youth, and grassroots programs.
In addition to the meeting with the president, Mr. Čeferin also met with the FFBiH executive leadership, including vice presidents Ivan Beus and Irfan Durić, general secretary Adnan Džemidžić, and presidential advisor Marko Miličić.
President Čeferin stressed out Bosnia and Herzegovina’s importance within the European football family and reaffirmed UEFA’s commitment to supporting the Federation across all areas of its work.
FFBiH President Zeljković thanked the UEFA President for his support and reiterated that Aleksander Čeferin’s presence in Sarajevo confirms the strong cooperation and shared commitment to strengthening football infrastructure, creating better conditions for youth, and promoting sporting values.
During his stay in Sarajevo, the UEFA President will attend the opening of the 15th Youth Sports Games, which once again have brought together a large number of participants from across the region.
