The meeting took place at the Swissotel in Sarajevo. It brought together presidents and general secretaries of football associations from Southeast Europe, alongside UEFA's top officials, led by President Aleksander Čeferin and Director of National Associations Zoran Laković.
In his opening address, FFBiH President Vico Zeljković welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in football development. He highlighted how joint efforts and knowledge exchange can contribute to improving competitions and infrastructure. Additionally, Zeljković expressed gratitude to UEFA for its continuous support, particularly through the HatTrick program, which funds football development projects across Europe. The FFBiH president also expressed a desire for a unified stance among football associations from Turkey to Slovenia within UEFA institutions to further strengthen the region’s status.
UEFA representatives delivered valuable presentations, with Denis Bastari covering the HatTrick program, Olivier Doglia discussing football development and support for national associations, and Ven Vincent focusing on protecting competition integrity.
Hosting such a significant meeting in Sarajevo further cements FFBiH's reputation on the international football stage and underscores President Zeljković's effective leadership in strengthening regional and European cooperation.
