The Election Session of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina General Assembly was held in Neum today. Vico Zeljković will remain President of the FFBiH for the next four years, as decided today by the delegates at the session held at the Grand hotel in Neum.
Tom Gorissen, Executive Director of Member Association Services, and Marco Ferri, Regional Coordinator for Europe, attended the session on FIFA’s behalf. UEFA was represented by Executive Board member Marijan Kustić and Head of the National Associations Department Marios Georgiou.
In their opening speeches, they highlighted that cooperation between FIFA, UEFA and FFBiH is at an all-time high, praising investments in infrastructure and the results achieved by the BiH national “A” team at the start of the World Cup qualifiers, as well as Banja Luka's Borac in the UEFA Conference League. The organization of today’s event was also praised as being at a very high level.
56 delegates were present, meaning all decisions made are valid.
After the working bodies were elected, the following decisions were adopted:
1. The members of the FFBiH Executive Board and their substitutes were elected. The Executive Board for the next four years will consist of: Vico Zeljković, Muris Jabandžić, Irfan Durić, Ivo Ivkić, Elmir Šećerbegović, Muhidin Raščić, Midhet Sarajčić, Ivan Beus, Dario Knezović, Ivan Perić, Radika Marić, Milorad O. Lale, Miloš Brkić, Goran Velaula.
2. By acclamation, the President, First Vice President, and Second Vice President of FFBiH were elected. The President for the next four years will be Vico Zeljković, the First Vice President Ivan Beus, and the Second Vice President Irfan Durić.
3. Presidents, vice presidents, and members of the FFBiH legal bodies were also elected: Disciplinary Committee, Appeals Committee, Prosecutors, First-instance Licensing Committee and Second-instance Licensing Committee.
