His Excellency was welcomed in the “House of Football” in Sarajevo by the FF BH President, Vico Zeljković, and his associates.

At the meeting, the emphasis was placed on establishing mutual cooperation in the coming period, as well as playing friendly matches of our national team with the national team of Qatar. The next World Cup in football in 2022 will be held in this country, and the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will strive to achieve its second qualification for the World Cup through qualifiers.

President Zeljković presented to the Ambassador of Qatar the development strategy of the FF BH for the period 2021-2025, as well as projects of the Federation in the coming period. H.E. Sultan bin Ali Al-Khater showed great interest in the infrastructure projects of the FF BH in the coming period, with expressed satisfaction with the presented plans that are a guarantee for the future of football in B&H. Ambassador Al-Khater wished good luck to our national team in the next matches of the qualifications for the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, with the wish that our national team be qualified for the world’s largest football festival.
