The Football Union of Russia (RFS) hosted a new regional football federations' meeting, which was held today in Moscow, with thirteen (13) European national associations present, including FFBIH general secretary Jasmin Bakovic and vice-president Darko Ljubojevic.

Attendees discussed the possible rules and procedures for the proposed regional league. The presentation on this topic was held by an UEFA representative Marc Esselink, who explained all the possible benefits for the clubs. They agreed to consider the aspects of this modality by next  meeting.

Also, there was a discussion regarding the possible regional competition for Under-18 national teams. This idea will be revisited and elaborated in the near future.

All associations' representatives expressed their unanimous support to Aleksandar Ceferin (Football Association of Slovenia president) for the next UEFA president. The election will take place in Athens, Greece at the extraordinary UEFA congress on September 14^th.
