The meeting brought together representatives of the 14 associations: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey. UEFA representatives were also present at the meeting.

The participants discussed the proposal for a possible regional competition of youth categories, which in the following period should be elaborated in more detail. All associations preliminarily supported the concept of tournament system of the competition, proposed by FA of Romania, and FA of Turkey expressed readiness to host the first such tournament.

UEFA representative Noel Mooney presented the way in which the number of young people involved in football activities can be increased through the implementation of the UEFA GROW program, with further positive reflections on the image of the association and the return of invested funds. It was pointed out that the understanding and support of the state authorities, as well as the relevant legal regulations, are very important for the realization of the mentioned program.

In addition, it was also discussed about the elections for the President and individual members of the executive bodies of UEFA and FIFA, which will be held at the UEFA Congress in Rome on 07.02.2019. Representatives of all regional associations supported the candidacy of the current UEFA President, Aleksander Čeferin, for the new term of office as the leader of European football and they signed a joint declaration in this respect.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Turkish association informed the other participants about all aspects of the candidature for the 2024 UEFA European Championship.
