The session was opened by the FF BH Vice President, Milorad Sofrenić, who also chaired, because the current President, Elvedin Begić, was not present.
In his introductory address before the start of the General Assembly, the Head of the UEFA National Associations Development Department, Thierry Favre, said, among other things:
“Dear friends, I am happy to be able to attend this session in person and convey the greetings of UEFA President Alexander Čeferin.
Today brings changes to your Federation. I see that someone is missing, but that is his decision and I am sorry about that. However, I congratulate him on the achievements he has achieved since 2012, together with his associates, and I would like to point out the three most important ones: qualification for the FIFA World Cup, opening of the “House of Football” in Sarajevo and the Training Centre in Zenica. I am glad that UEFA was also a part of those projects, realized together with the FF BH. One of them is certainly the improvement of the clubs’ infrastructure.
Last night, I had the pleasure to meet, if everything goes according to plan, the future President Vico Zeljković, who I am sure will have a good cooperation with UEFA. You can always count on UEFA support. I wish you successful work of the General Assembly, and that you remain strong and healthy in these conditions of the pandemic. In the end, I take this opportunity to wish you success in the next matches in Finland, with Costa Rica in Zenica and against the world champion France in Sarajevo.”
After the election of the working bodies, the Election Commission stated that out of 60 delegates, 59 attended the session, so that the Assembly had the necessary quorum for work and decision-making.
After the presentations, the delegates of the Assembly unanimously adopted:
- FF BH Activity Report for 2020;
- Report on the Execution of the Revenue and Expenditure Plan of the FF BH for 2020;
- FF BH Audit Report for 2020;
- FF BH Work Plan for 2021;
- FF BH Plan of Revenues and Expenditures for 2021.
After the regular, an election session of the General Assembly of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held today in Ilidža.
