Today, at the “Atrium” of the “Europe” hotel was held the first official press conference, where the newly selected head coach of the “A” national team, Robert Prosinečki, addressed the guests and media representatives for the first time after his appointment. Beside the new head coach, the press was conference also attended by the FF BH representatives, namely General Secretary, Jasmin Baković; Executive Director of the Administration Sector, Adnan Džemidžić; and the Executive Director of the Sports Sector, Elmir Pilav.

“I am honoured to be selected as a new head coach of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially before the next qualifications for the European Championship and the Nations League. In the past two days, I received many supporting calls and congrats from my numerous football friends and I will do everything to justify your expectations” – said Prosinečki at the press conference. On a journalists’ question on rejuvenation of the national team, he also added that there were no young or old footballers for him, and that he would do his best to strengthen the national team with as many quality players, both from the Premier League and from other European leagues. Prosinečki will lead the national team in the UEFA Nations League, as well as in qualifications for the European Championship 2020.
