Football Federation of Serbia's youth category director Savo Milosevic and his associate Mitar Mrkela have visited FFBIH today where they talked with general secretary Jasmin Bakovic and technical director Denijal Piric about joint tournament organization for young players which would take place in Bijeljina in June this year.
"We have been organizing tournaments for young football players for several years now, and this year we would like to include teams from ex-Yugoslavia as before", said Savo Milosevic at the beginning, and added: "Fifteen clubs already agreed to participate and of course we talked with other national football federations' representatives."
"This competition would bear name "The Friendship Tournament", and the idea is to renew the relationships, because that's our future and we should start with the young people", added Mrkela.
General secretary Bakovic: "We gladly accept this initiative to participate in this project whose goal is to build friendship and good relationships, and not only for the young players, but for all of us living in these areas. Football has a great influence, and one of it's roles is to bring people together. That's the clear message we'd like to send by endorsing this kind of event."
All the details regarding this tournament will be determined at a later date.
