A seminar for female football coaches in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which started on August 10th at the FFBIH training center in Zenica, was concluded yesterday. The event was led by FIFA Instructor and UEFA Technical Observer Patricia Gonzales, former player and head coach in Rayo Vallecano, and currently Azerbaijan's women's national team coach.
26 former and current players from Bosnia and Herzegovina who competed in senior competitions and currently work as coaches had the opportunity to participate in this seminar. Besided FIFA certificate, attendees acquired a UEFA C coaching license as well, and later attended the Premier League match between SFK 2000 Sarajevo and Iskra Bugojno.
FFBIH technical director Denijal Piric: "This is one extraordinary action aiming to affirm women's football. 26 coaches has successfully completed the course and acquired a C license. We'd like to thank instructor Patricia Gonzales who worked really well with our educators. This seminar represents another positive step in popularizing women's football here.
