Session of the Executive Board was held

Today, the 16th regular session of the FF BH Executive Board was held at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica under the chairmanship of the President Elvedin Begić.

All members of the Executive Board, a member of the Committee on Mediation and Counselling, Sead Kajtaz, as well as Zvjezdan Misimović, the Advisor to the Executive Board for Football Affairs, were present at this session.

There were eight points on the agenda and most of the attention and discussion was caused by the Report of the Executive Board Commission in charge of nominating candidates for the head coach of the “A” national team. The Executive Board assessed that the Commission had done a great job and selected two persons from the list of potential candidates for the head coach of the “A” national team, Robert Prosinečki and Amar Osim, with whom they will have more detailed interviews in a few days.

In addition, the following was unanimously adopted at the session:

  1. Minutes and information on realization of conclusions from the 15th regular session of the Executive Board, held on 16.11.2017,
  2. Information on the FF BH financial situation,
  3. Reports from the Competent Authorities (Competition Committee, Committee for Refereeing and Referees, Committee for Stadiums and Security, Finance Committee and Disciplinary Commissions) on competitions organized by FF BH in the autumn part of the competitive season 2017/2018,
  4. Suggestions:
  1.  FF BH Regulations on registration, status and transfer of player,
  2.  Decisions on Amendments to the FF BH Disciplinary Regulations,
  3.  Decisions on Amendments to the Regulations on Club Licensing for Competition in the BH Prime League and the Regulations on Club Licensing for UEFA,
  4.  Decisions on re-registration,
  5. Form of the new players identity card.
  1. Information on realization of the project “Development of youth elite players”,
  2. Report of the FF BH Expert-Technical Committee with the evaluation of performance of national teams in 2017. The general assessment is that there is an evident progress in the work with the youth men’s U-17 and U-19 teams, as well as the women's U-17 team, which achieved the plans with their qualifications to the elite rounds of the respective competitions.

After the session, the FF BH Vice-President, Milorad Sofrenić, addressed the media representatives:

“Regarding the point which referred to the choice of the head coach, today we discussed the report of the Commission which discussed with all potential candidates. We reduced the four suggested proposals to two candidates. These are Robert Prosinečki and Amar Osim. In the next ten days, concrete talks will be held with them on their terms and on the potential conclusion of the contract.”
