The 14th and final round of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Women's Cadet Premier League was finished today, and the first champion of this competition is SFK 2000 Sarajevo. They managed to beat Lokomotiva Brcko 1-4 in an away match today.
Coach Danica Kovacevic didn't hide her excitement after this success:
"When we started to get ready for this competition we didn't expect to make a success in our first season. The players were chosen just before the start of the championship, these were practically their first games. However, all the effort and work has paid off and we have raised the cup today. The greatest merit certainly belong to the players who have performed excellent work throughout the season. I would like to thank the club management for providing us with ideal work conditions. Also thanks to the FFBIH for establishing this league, and to other teams in the championship for their fair play."
After the game, FFBIH competitions committee member Muhamed Avdic awarded the winners with trophy and medals.
