The second annual supervisory audit was conducted today at the FFBiH headquarters to assess the functioning of the quality management system. The audit was carried out by auditors from the authorized certification body “TÜV SÜD Management Service,” Bojan Žiger and Amel Kučanin, who spent the day evaluating the current state of quality management operations.
This is a regular verification procedure following FFBiH’s achievement two years ago, when it became the first sports organization in the country to obtain the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 certificate for meeting the standard’s requirements and applying a quality management system in organizing and promoting football in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The audit included a comprehensive review of documentation and procedures within the business processes in FFBiH’s operations, as well as the functioning of interrelated management, operational, and support processes.
The audit was conducted in accordance with international standards, with a serious and dedicated approach from both the auditors and FFBiH administration, led by general secretary Adnan Džemidžić. In addition to expressing satisfaction with the level of development of the quality management system, auditors Žiger and Kučanin also presented relevant recommendations for further improvement, which will contribute to faster and more stable development of a sustainable system for achieving statutory and strategic goals.
These FFBiH activities are directly aligned with the project “Development and Strengthening of the Good Governance System in FFBiH Business Processes” for the 2024–2026 period, implemented with full support and financial support from UEFA.
The primary goal of the project, structured into 14 points with a higly dynamic activity plan, is to build a stable and reliable quality management system to optimize FFBiH’s business and sporting performance.
