Cup Finals is a solemn event in every country but ours, as evidenced by the events during and after the second leg match of the BiH Cup finals, which was played last night in Široki Brijeg between NK Široki Brijeg and FK Sarajevo.

The grand finale, which was supposed to be a true celebration of football, was turned into the funeral of decency and civilization heritage in the worst way. The escapade of the most vile, vulgar and unprovoked nationalistic insults, racism and hooliganism, and demeaning attitude towards the national anthem leaves nobody indifferent.

Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina can't and won't stand idle and blind to the fascist slogans and banners, and all other forms of behavior that have nothing to do with sports. Unfortunately, the players' good behavior and an exemplary reception by the home team remained completely in the shadow of unsportsmanlike, inappropriate, and frustrating behavior by host fans.

FFBIH competent bodies will conduct a procedure and take all necessary actions in its jurisdiction, following exact example that UEFA's disciplinary bodies conducted in similar situations and events, and respond strongly and adequately.

FFBIH will continue to fight for more beautiful, better, and healthier football environment in the future, including next BiH Cup finals, because Bosnia and Herzegovina is still the country of us all!
