Former national "A" team members Adnan Zahirovic and Miroslav Stevanovic visited FFBIH today where they were received by the technical department director Denijal Piric.
Piric: "It's a real pleasure and refreshment talking and hanging out with these young players who have passed through all of our national teams. FFBIH takes care of our national team players and it would be good they would visit us as often as possible. Both of them are good players with significant experience, and I believe they'll play again for our national "A" team."
Zahirovic and Stevanovic said the call from FFBIH pleasantly surprised them and that they had a chance to exchange experiences, talk with someone who has insight into the work of national teams, and finally to see some pictures from the past gatherings. For both of them, playing in the domestic championship is a chance to prove themselves in Zeljeznicar as well to win back their place in the national team once again.
Stevanovic: "I haven't been part of the team for a long time, I had a lot of ups and downs in my career and the priority right now is to prove myself in the club. I can say that I'll make every effort to show my quality and everything else that's in my power, and then the return to the national team isn't off the table."
Zahirovic: "I'm glad I was part of the team that qualified for the World Cup in Brazil, and of course I would like to return to the national team again. I hope I'll show everybody that my place is among the best. I believe coach will send us the invitation if we deserve that."
