Although FFBIH wanted to hire Vahid Halihodzic as a new national football team coach, he confirmed to president Elvedin Begic tonight in Mostar he won't be able to accept that job. FFBIH delagation had a meeting with Halihodzic last Thursday in Makarska, where he left open the possibility for a new meeting in Mostar.
However, he explained to president Begic tonight that he isn't ready to take the job at the moment because of personal reasons, but he hopes to become a coach for Bosnia and Herzegovina's national team in the coming period.
Despite the numerous efforts, FFBIH regrets his decision and wishes him best of luck. The newly appointed committee, led by president Begic, will continue their efforts to come up with the best suggestions for the next coach, who will be chosen by FFBIH's executive board.
