Sunday, 25.02.2018

Čitluk: Brotnjo-Salines (19:00 h)

Five matches will be played on Saturday, and attention is drawn by the match of the city rivals of Centar and Željezničar.

One of the more experienced players of Centar, Nijaz Mulahmetović, expects a positive result:

“We enter the city derby motivated and we will do everything to get three points. We know that our opponent is in an unenviable position and that there is a cramped struggle for survival. We want them to realise it in other games, and on Saturday we will give our maximum to win.”

On the other hand, the head coach of Željezničar, Haris Rokša, points out that his team will not surrender in the forthcoming encounter:

“We are going to win against Centar. We respect this team and we all know what Centar means for the BH futsal. They are the multi-champions of the state and only few teams hope to get points against them. However, we know each other very well and we are going to play. Željezničar must go to win in every match, because every point is of great importance to us in our struggle for survival. After a defeat against Salines in the first round, we have to start collecting points in away matches too.”

On Sunday, the teams ranked as 4th and 5th on the table, Brotnjo and Salines, will play a match. The team from Tuzla resolved the autumn match of these teams to their advantage of 11:4, and the first-team player of Brotnjo, Marin Šunjić, expects his team to revenge:

“We will meet with the team that made our worst defeat in the first part of the season. Now we want to revenge them and I hope we will succeed in that. We opened the spring in the best possible way, with a convincing victory against Seljak. We work well on training sessions and we have all the prerequisites to get points against Salines.”

The captain Salines, Denis Isanović, believes that winning one point would not be a bad result for his team:

“After a good opening of the half-season and domestic victory against Željezničar, now we are expecting a difficult away match in Čitluk. We are sure that this will be a fair and correct match between two quality teams. We expect a positive result that would be for us a draw as well, but if we get a chance also for all three points, we will use it.”
