Team member Dobrica Tegeltija believes the result was the most realistic outcome:
"We started badly, and we allowed the opponent to hold the ball possession and control the game. We began to recover at the end of the first half, and had we scored a goal then perhaps the match would have gone differently. In the second half we were better, but we didn't take the advantage of the situation. The opponent also had their share of opportunities, so tie was perhaps the most fair outcome.
We'll try to justify expectations against the Czech Republic and win three points which would keep us in the game for the European Championship. We've been preparing hard for this tournament and I hope it will be worth it."
