Our cadets (U-17) created several opportunities, but the match ended without goals 0:0.
Zoran Erbez, who headed from the bench the BH U-17 team in Slovenia, instead of Sakib Malkočević, said after the end of the match:
“This was a really excellent check with a very quality opponent. The match was strong and tough, with a lot of dynamics. Despite a more defensive game, we created three occasions from the counterattacks, one of which was one hundred per cent. Unfortunately, we did not use it and the match finished without goals.”
Erbez also added: “A lot of players showed that we could count on them and when the second match ends, we will determine which guys will be included in the elite round. We expect strong teams there, which are at least in the ranking with Slovenia and even stronger. Today’s opponent is high quality and technically skilled, however our players answered in right way and a lot of guys draw attention to themselves. We also saw some bad sides, for which such matches served and we will try to correct them as soon as possible.”
