The Women’s U-17 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina won Romania with 1:0 at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica today, and for the second time in a row, they qualified to the elite round of qualifications for the European Women’s U-17 Championship.

The first chance at the match had the BH team in 5^th minute. Gavrić crossed the left side and threw the ball into the goalkeeper zone where Krajšumović tried to trick by heel the Romanian goalkeeper Ghioc, who still managed to catch the ball.

In 19^th minute, Krajšumović dribbled three Romanian players in the opponents’ penalty area and assisted to Sajra Fejzić, whose attempt from about 7 meters was blocked.

The selected players of Ilija Lucić reached the advantage in 24^th minute. Elma Husić kicked from the left corner, and the highest in the jump was Sofija Krajšumović who sent the ball into the net for 1:0.

Andrea Gavrić had a great opportunity in 29^th minute, but her kick from the asquint left side was defended with ultimate effort by Katia Ghioc.

The Romanians threatened for the first time only in 58^th minute. Rosie took the free kick from about 20 meters, but she sent the ball over the goal.

Krajšumović tried from the asquint right side in 71^st minute, but Ghioc was at the height of her task. There were no opportunities until the end of the match,.

In the second match of the qualification group 4, Republic of Ireland defeated Greece 2:0 in Doboj Kakanj. The goals at this match were scored by Fowler at 21^st minute and Masterson at 75^th minute.

The first place on the qualifying tournament won the Irish with a maximum of 9 points. Bosnia and Herzegovina finished second with 6, so these two teams will continue within next qualifications. Greece and Romania won one point each.
