“I’m more concerned about the match against Estonia than Belgium,” Pirić said.

“There is no need to waste words about Belgians. We all know who they are and what they are. But on our side will be a result motive, because the victory paves the way to the play-off. Also, our trump can be a grudge, that is, a huge wish that, after Greece and Cyprus, the entire public will be shown that this national team still has potentials. At the same time, this will be a big pressure for our guys, which should not be a particular problem, bearing in mind their experience.”

Unfortunately, we will play without Pjanić and a few more injured players?

“For this team, Pjanić means a lot, but his absence should give an opportunity to someone else to show what he can. It is important that the team “works” in the field, to oppose Belgium with running, but also with a wise, patient game.”

What can prevail in a match like this?

“It’s never known. Psychological preparation is essential. If you want to win, you must first win in your head, then in your legs. Therefore, positive energy and the self-confidence of the players are especially important, as well as the confidence of the fans in this team, which has not yet said its last words.”

Maybe the fact that it is the first qualification game at Grbavica is prevailing?

“It should definitely be a special motive for the head coach Baždarević and our players. The fans will represent the wind in their back, but no matter where they play, the most important approach to the game is always the following: maximum concentration and uncompromising play on every part of the field.
