Gathering of the BH U-19 players on Thursday

The U-19 team will meet at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica on Thursday, 2nd November, where they will prepare for the qualifying tournament for the European U-19 Championship.

The opponents to our team in Group 11 will be France, Georgia and Andorra, and the tournament will be held in the Ethno Village Stanišići and Ugljevik from 8th to 14th November this year.

The head coach Toni Karačić counts on the following 20 players in the qualifications:

Adnan Kanurić (Deutz 05, Germany), Jusuf Gazibegović (Red Bull Salzburg, Austria), Amar Beširević (Željezničar), Jasmin Čeliković (Rijeka, Croatia), Rijad Sadiku (Sarajevo), Vladan Danilović (Borac), Ševkija Resić (Sarajevo), Edis Smajić (Sloboda), Nedim Hadžić (Sarajevo), Nikola Kosanić (Niendorf, Germany), Benjamin Hadžić (Stuttgart, Germany), Elvir Kovač (Freiburg, Germany), Amar Beganović (Sloboda), Alen Mustafić (Sarajevo), Stefan Kovač (Crvena Zvezda, Serbia), Anel Šabanadžović (Željezničar), Amar Ćatić (PSV Eindhoven, the Netherlands), Demirel Veladžić (Sarajevo), Halid Šabanović (Sarajevo), Amir Velić (Željezničar).

Karačić believes that the BH team will face with difficult matches:

“We expect preparations for the tournament, where we will have demanding opponents. France and Georgia are very good teams. We will have five training sessions in Zenica and two more in the Ethno Village Stanišići before our first match with Georgia. We will use this time for players to get to know their opponents better. According to what we have seen, it is a serious and strong team. We need to get better as the first game is very important and can determine a further course of qualifications. We will do our best to qualify to the elite round.”

The team members will be preparing in Zenica until 6th November, when they will go to the Ethno Village Stanišići, where the tournament will be held.
