The UEFA European Under-17 Championship finals draw has been made in Zagreb, Croatia today. Our team was seeded to Group C with Germany, Republic of Ireland and Serbia.
Coach Sakib Malkocevic commented the group: "There are no easy opponents at the European Championship. Any team that has qualified is good. As far as our group is concerned, we could have gotten better opponents, but also worse. Ireland and Germany went through the Elite Round with ease and three victories. We're familiar with Serbia's team because we played friendly games with them. It's up to us to prepare well, last year we didn't embarrass ourselves at the Euro and I believe we won't this year either. We're going to represent our country in the best light, and I hope that all team members remain healthy and get to play in their clubs so we can be ready for the major competition. We'll try to acquire more information about our opponents in the coming period."
Croatia will be hosting the European Championship from 3-19th of May this year.
