For the first time, the team was headed by new coach Vinko Marinovic who commented today's game:

"It's important that we started the qualifiers with a victory. We didn't have much time to get to know each other, but the players did a good job and I congratulate them. We played disciplined and created many opportunities. There's enough time to prepare for the next game, and I think we'll look even better by then."

Our young team will play its next qualifying match on June 13th against Switzerland.
