The electoral UEFA Congress was held in the Congress Centre in Lisbon, and the representatives of all European football associations gave their support to the only candidate for president, Aleksander Čeferin, who will continue to be the head of UEFA for the next four years.
In addition to the election for the president, elections were held for eight members of the Executive Committee, and the following received support: Laura McAllister, Jesper Møller Christensen, Philippe Diallo, Armand Duka, Petr Fousek, Levan Kobiašvili, Andriy Pavelko and Luis Rubiales. Hans-Joachim Watzke received a two-year mandate in the ExCo.
Sándor Csányi and Debbie Hewitt were elected by the FIFA Council as vice-presidents, and Fernando Gomes (four years) and Bernd Neuendorf (two years) as regular members of the FIFA Council.
The reports of the President, the Executive Board, and the UEFA Administration on the work of the past year, as well as the financial report for the previous period and the financial plan for the next year, were accepted.
In addition to President Zeljković, the BH FF delegation consisted of Vice President Ivan Beus, General Secretary Adnan Džemidžić and Advisor to the President Marko Miličić.
