First round of UEFA U-17 development tournament for women has been played out today, and BIH cadets beat their colleagues from Montenegro with 2-1.

Coach Ilija Lucic: "I'd like to commend my girls, they adhered to our agreement from the locker room. We know our opponents well because we played with them before, and overall I think we're favorite team at this tournament. In the end it was well deserved victory."

Montenegro coach Dervis Hadziosmanovic: "Our midfielders and attackers played fine, however defense was weak. We'll try to overcome some of the mistakes we made today."

Captain Amina Sapcanin: "We played well against Montenegro. There's a noticeable improvement over the previous gatherings and I expect us to win this tournament."

In the second match, Croatia won the match against Macedonia with 2-1.
