The seminar, attended by representatives from Albania, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Israel, North Macedonia, Russia, Scotland, Serbia and Switzerland, together with UEFA experts and FFBiH representatives, was opened by General Secretary Adnan Džemidžić.

Over three working days, a number of topics were covered in the areas of young player development, talent identification, scouting, coach education and players’ transition from youth to senior football. A special part of the program was devoted to watching the UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship semifinals, which the participants analyzed through expert workshops.

On behalf of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Senior Women’s Football Development Associate Ivana Vlaić delivered a presentation titled “Player Pathways,” outlining the system for developing young female footballers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federation’s experience working with talented players.

Following the seminar, Vlaić said: “It’s a great honor for us that UEFA entrusted Bosnia and Herzegovina with organizing this important educational program. Over the past several days, we had an opportunity to exchange experiences with experts from numerous European associations, present our working methods and, at the same time, gain new knowledge that’ll contribute to the continued development of women’s football in our country. We’re convinced that programs like this are extremely important for improving work with young players and building a high-quality system for their development.”

The seminar once again confirmed UEFA’s and the national associations’ commitment to continued investment in women’s football development, with a particular focus on working with young players and professional staff. By successfully organizing the event, the FFBiH further demonstrated its ability to host international development and educational programs.
