At the end of today's session of the Executive Board of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Robert Prosinečki was elected as the new head coach of the BH national team, the first vice-president of the Federation, Milorad Sofrenić, addressed the media:
“After three months, today we got a new head coach of our national team. We wish him a lot of luck in this position and to achieve the result that was missing in the previous two qualifying cycles. We unanimously decided that Robert Prosinečki was the best solution. Both candidates were very correct in negotiations and had quality programs. Robert Prosinečki has a long-standing experience in leading a national team, unlike Amar Osim, which prevailed in his favour. It is also known that he worked in the technical staff of the Croatian and Azerbaijani national teams.”
