Shortly after the FFBIH Executive Board meeting, the first vice president Milorad Sofrenic addressed the media representatives:

"We had a standard agenda today where we focused on the organization of upcoming "A" team's qualifier with Greece, as well as U-17 team's performance at the European Championship. The propositions for all 2017/18 competitions have been adopted as well. There weren't any resignations today, it was all a speculation. As for the domestic championship, it will be thoroughly analyzed after all committees have delivered their respective reports. Based on their decisions, the Executive Board will make its conclusions and measures.

Football in Bosnia and Herzegovina is not in crisis. We had the cadets play at the European Championship, while the "A" team has a real chance to reach one of the first two positions in the World Cup qualifiers. League also shows significant improvement compared to previous years. There are certain problems and omissions, but in general we still see improvements each year in all segments."
